Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking experienced Collections Specialists to join a fully remote, nationwide team. The role focuses on negotiating resolutions, skip-tracing, and maintaining compliance while delivering strong results from a home office.

You will handle inbound/outbound calls, establish payment plans, and document activity in detail. A high school diploma and debt-collection experience are required, with bilingual skills a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements based on borrowers' financial situations.
• Use skip-tracing tools and investigative techniques to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned portfolios and prioritize collection activities to maximize recovery.
• Work toward individual and departmental performance goals.
• Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Deliver professional, respectful customer interactions during difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain communication with management and team while working remotely.
