LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking experienced Collections Specialists to join our national remote team. You’ll manage inbound and outbound calls, negotiate resolutions, and document progress while upholding regulatory standards.

Successful candidates bring 2+ years in third‑party debt collection, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to work independently from a distraction‑free home workspace.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate settlements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
• Must reside and work in an LCS-approved state.
• Working knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to maintain a professional, distraction-minimized remote workspace.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Utilize skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned account portfolios and prioritize collection activities.
• Work toward individual and departmental performance goals.
• Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Deliver professional, respectful customer interactions during difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local collection laws and policies.
• Maintain consistent communication with management and teammates while working remotely.
