LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking an experienced Collections Specialist to help recover delinquent accounts from a home-based setting. You will negotiate resolutions, establish payment plans, and ensure compliance with debt collection regulations while supporting a nationwide remote team.

The role requires strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently in a structured, performance-driven environment.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
• Professionalism, reliability, accountability, and a positive attitude.
• Working knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to maintain a professional, distraction-minimized remote workspace for confidential conversations.
• Reliable internet connectivity.
• Ability to remain available, responsive, and productive during scheduled hours.
• Must reside and work in an LCS-approved state.

Responsabilidades

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Use skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned account portfolios and prioritize collection activities.
• Work toward individual and departmental performance goals.
• Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Provide professional, respectful customer interactions during difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local collection laws and company policies.
• Maintain communication with management and team while working remotely.
