LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking a Remote Collections Specialist to join our team. You will handle inbound and outbound calls to negotiate resolutions, establish payment plans, and pursue settlements while maintaining compliance and professional conduct.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of third-party debt collection experience, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a high-volume, remote environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Working knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to maintain a professional remote workspace for confidential conversations.
• Experience in high-volume collections environments.
• Familiarity with skip-tracing tools and collection management systems.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
• History of meeting or exceeding collection goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements based on borrowers' finances.
• Use skip-tracing tools and investigative techniques to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned portfolios and prioritize activities to maximize recovery.
• Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Deliver professional, respectful customer interactions during difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local collection laws and company policies.
