Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking a Remote Collections Specialist to join our team from a home-based office in the United States. The role requires a minimum of two years’ third-party debt collection experience and strong negotiation, communication, and compliance skills.

You will manage inbound and outbound calls, negotiate payment arrangements, and use skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers while maintaining high standards of professionalism.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of debt collection experience.
• Proven ability to negotiate payment arrangements.
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
• Knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations.
• Experience in high-volume collections environments.
• Experience with skip-tracing tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Utilize skip-tracing tools and investigative techniques to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned account portfolios and prioritize collection activities to maximize recovery opportunities.
• Consistently work toward individual and departmental performance goals.
• Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Deliver professional, respectful customer interactions while navigating difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local collection laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
