Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner studio in the United Kingdom, is seeking a 3D Animator for a fully remote role to bring characters, objects, and environments to life in mobile games.

You will shape the visual identity and player experience by delivering expressive, technically precise movements, from rigs to exports, while collaborating with designers to ensure clarity and consistency across titles.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in core animation principles.
• Experience with mobile game animation pipelines.
• Experience with rigs and skinning.
• Ability to optimize animations for mobile performance.
• Strong organization and file management.

Responsibilities

• Create animations for characters, objects, and environmental elements in mobile games.
• Prepare and configure animation clips, including idle, walk, run, attack, emotes, and other states.
• Work with character rigs and skeletons, performing skinning adjustments when necessary.
• Export animations in FBX format while ensuring technical compliance.
• Optimize animations to meet mobile performance constraints without sacrificing quality.
• Collaborate with the art team and game designers to maintain visual consistency and readability of actions.
• Contribute to the development of animation pipelines and uphold quality standards.
