Job summary

RetroStyle Games is expanding its freelance team and seeks talented 3D Animators to work on stylized real-time game projects. You will create character rigs, produce high-quality animations, and integrate them into Unity and Unreal Engine.

Remote, flexible freelance schedule, with multiple engagement options across exciting titles. Ideal candidates have strong Maya or Blender skills, commercial real-time animation experience in Unity/Unreal, and a solid grasp of animation timing and style.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Maya or Blender.
• Commercial experience creating animations for real-time games in Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Understanding of animation principles, timing, weight and gameplay-driven animation.
• Ability to match and maintain a project’s visual style.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Create character rigs and skeletal setups.
• Produce high-quality real-time game animations, including locomotion, idle cycles, attacks, interactions, and other gameplay animations.
• Prepare and integrate animations for Unity and Unreal Engine projects.
