Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 is seeking experienced tutors to provide personalized 1:1 instruction to K-12 students based in North America. You set a consistent after-school schedule for 50-minute sessions and use Cosmo curriculum in an online classroom.

Required are a Bachelor’s degree, 3 years of K-12 ELA/ESL/EFL teaching experience, familiarity with ELA standards, and a reliable internet connection with a Windows or Mac PC. You must be located in the United States or Canada and commit to at least 6 months.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching grades K-12 in ELA, ESL or EFL.
• Knowledge of K-12 ELA standards.
• Reliable internet connection and a PC (Windows or Mac).

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for students.
• Update availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare lesson materials suited to the student's age and ability.
• Submit class feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students professionally.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
