Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 connects K-12 students in the US, Canada, and across Asia with tutors for personalized lessons. As a tutor for Cosmo 1:1, you will teach students based in North America using the Cosmo curriculum during a set 50‑minute weekly session.

This independent contractor role requires a Bachelor’s degree, at least 3 years of K-12 ELA/ESL/EFL teaching experience, reliable internet, and a willingness to commit to six months with a minimum of 20 hours per week, 3–10 PM EST on weekdays or weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and teaching experience in K-12 ELA/ESL/EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards is preferred.
• Must have reliable internet and a computer meeting minimum specs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 instruction for students on the Cosmo curriculum.
• Update availability and prepare appropriate lesson materials.
• Submit feedback after each lesson and communicate professionally with parents.
• Attend all classes on time from a private, quiet location.
