Job summary

Deluxe Corporation is seeking a Remittance Processing Specialist III to handle the most complex client processing with minimal supervision. You will perform the day-to-day function of highly complex transactions, conduct lookups on rejected payments, and make higher-level decisions to meet client deadlines.

You will coordinate with all areas of Operations to ensure timely processing, maintain accuracy, and resolve issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year experience in document processing.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Willing to work flexible schedules including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Handle highly complex customer processing with minimal supervision.
• Perform lookups and research on rejected payments and paperwork.
• Higher-level decision making on transactions.
• Manage received dates and deadlines for mail processing to meet client deadlines.
• Communicate with Operations to ensure deadlines are met.
• Provide customer contact to resolve issues and processes.
• Maintain accuracy and performance output per department and client standards.
