Job summary

Deluxe Corporation in the United States is seeking a Processing Specialist I to handle remittance processing tasks under supervision. The role involves operating mail extraction equipment, sorting transactions, and batching items per client instructions.

You will prepare daily reconciliation and billing reports in a fast-paced production environment. The position requires basic qualifications, independence, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Detail-oriented and quality conscious.
• Able to read and make basic decisions.
• Good hand/eye coordination.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays/overtime.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand long periods.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must meet productivity and accuracy standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate mail extraction equipment to batch work into processible batches.
• Sort and batch transactions using I-Tran, IMBL, OPEX 30/40/50/51 and Falcon.
• Open envelopes and batch checks, invoices and coupons per client instructions.
• Perform basic-level transaction sorting and decision-making.
• Header batched items with control documents and processing header.
• Dispatch: quality review of outgoing items including HIPAA clients.
• Prepare daily reconciliation and billing reports.
• Process work accurately and maintain performance per standards.
• Perform minor adjustments and repairs to equipment.
