Job summary

Commerce Bank seeks an Remittance Processor III to support Lockbox Remittance Processing services in Kansas City, MO. You will handle expedited processing, credit card-related tasks, and PHI/PAYMENTS handling to meet service levels.

The role requires 2+ years in payment processing, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM shifts with a collaborative team approach, ensuring accuracy and security in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of payment processing or related experience in a production environment.
• Ability to learn department systems and adapt to workflows.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks on outbound mail and basic troubleshooting; operate scanning equipment with accuracy.
• Monitor systems and meet deadlines; manage data entry and transmission deadlines.
• Apply customer rules to credit card processing; respond to emails and label processed work.
• Meet department production and quality goals by processing multiple accounts with accuracy.
• Complete data entry for scanned images; ensure field validation and processing procedures.
• Process PHI and card payments in compliance with HIPAA and PCI standards.
• Cross-train and deliver results in other areas as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
