Job summary

Commerce Bank is seeking a Remittance Processor III to support Lockbox Remittance Processing services in Kansas City. The role includes fast, accurate processing of payments and correspondence, with a 3:30 PM–Midnight second shift and a shift differential.

You will perform quality checks, data entry, and HP/PCI-compliant handling of PHI and card payments. Requires a high school diploma and 2+ years in payment processing, plus strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of payment processing or related experience in a production environment.
• Ability to learn department systems and follow guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks on outbound mail and troubleshoot or escalate issues.
• Operate scanning equipment and meet document processing deadlines.
• Process credit card payments, labeled work, and respond to emails per procedures.
• Enter data for scanned images and validate fields across accounts.
• Handle PHI processing in compliance with HIPAA and PCI standards.
• Cross-train and assist in other department areas as needed.
