Job summary

maurices in Manhattan, KS is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) to partner with the store manager in driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service. The program prepares you for a Store Manager role within 3–6 months, with relocation to a new or group of stores as needed.

The MIT will participate in all training modules while performing managerial duties, focusing on talent development, scheduling, and ensuring visual and promotional standards across the store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Business or retail merchandising degree preferred.
• Supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Experience in the fashion industry preferred.
• Proven ability to lead by example, make sound decisions, and demonstrate professionalism.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Must commit to a specific store location or a group of new and existing stores.

Responsibilities

• Support store manager in achieving sales goals and maintaining a customer-focused store environment.
• Manage payroll hours and scheduling to maximize sales and efficiency.
