The role oversees crisis management, safety, scheduling, intakes, and daily tasks to provide quality service in a fast-paced environment. Prior leadership and social services experience preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• F-02 required.
• Certificate of Fitness for Coordinator of Fire Safety and Alarm Systems in Homeless Shelters (F-80) required.
• Security License required.
• 3-5 years of management experience required.
• 1-3 years of experience in the social services field required.
• Proven ability to think critically, solve problems, troubleshoot and manage crisis situations.
• Strong management, interpersonal, writing and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• CPR/First Aid Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including some holidays, evenings and weekends.

Aufgaben

• Task management and delegation.
• Programmatic safety and crisis management.
• Supervise a team of resident assistants and contracted security.
• Provide 24-hour shelter operations oversight during evenings, overnights and weekends.
• Ensure accurate completion of operations team tasks.
• Conduct intakes with new families (in person and phone).
• Maintain schedules for operations staff and manage callouts/coverage.
• Respond to emergencies and document/incorporate reports for funders.
• Oversee facility safety and conduct scheduled fire drills.
• Manage crises and de-escalation as needed.
• Face-to-face relief post with ongoing duties as assigned.
