Job summary

Sonoco is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician II-III at our Tiffin, OH facility. You will maintain and improve mechanical, electrical, and automation systems, troubleshoot PLCs, and support preventive/predictive maintenance while adhering to safety standards.

You will lead maintenance activities, document actions in our CMMS, and collaborate with operations to minimize downtime and drive asset reliability across the plant.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma (preferably with a vocational focus).
• Preferred: Associate’s degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or related technical field; or equivalent military experience.
• Level II – 6+ years in similar role; Level III – 8+ years; Sr – 10+ years.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Proactively maintain, install, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems.
