Electric Power Systems (EPS) is a NETA-accredited independent electrical testing and engineering organization. The Relay Technician II performs testing, commissioning, and maintenance of protection and control relays with increasing independence, supporting project execution while prioritizing safety and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in electrical/electronic technology or engineering is preferred.
• NETA II Certification is preferred.
• Experience with relay testing and protective relays is essential.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety policies and participate in briefing and hazard mitigation.
• Perform relay testing with guidance from Senior Relay Technicians and Engineers.
• Test protective relays and control systems end-to-end.
• Analyze readings and system performance to identify abnormalities.
• Create detailed test, commissioning, and calibration reports.
• Coordinate with engineers and project teams to ensure alignment.
