Electric Power Systems (EPS) is a NETA-accredited testing and engineering organization providing protection and control systems services across North America. The Relay Technician II role emphasizes testing, commissioning, and maintenance with growing independence, and a strong safety culture.
The position supports project execution, develops expertise in relay protection schemes, and collaborates with senior technicians and engineers to deliver high-quality results for clients in data centers,
Competenze
- Pre-employment drug screen required.
- Background check required.
- Overtime and travel off-site possible.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Hands-on experience installing and testing protective relays.
- Troubleshooting distribution & transmission controls circuits.
- Knowledge of relay test software.
Mansioni
- Perform relay testing with assistance from senior technicians and engineers.
- Execute element, logic, and basic functional testing of protective relays.
- Analyze readings to verify system performance and identify abnormalities.
- Create testing and isolation plans for safe execution.
- Document test results and commissioning records clearly.
- Communicate findings with clients, engineers, and project teams.
