Qualifications

• Pre-employment drug screen required.
• Background check required.
• Overtime and travel off-site possible.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Hands-on experience installing and testing protective relays.
• Troubleshooting distribution & transmission controls circuits.
• Knowledge of relay test software.

Responsibilities

• Perform relay testing with assistance from senior technicians and engineers.
• Execute element, logic, and basic functional testing of protective relays.
• Analyze readings to verify system performance and identify abnormalities.
• Create testing and isolation plans for safe execution.
• Document test results and commissioning records clearly.
• Communicate findings with clients, engineers, and project teams.
