Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Relay Technician II to perform testing, commissioning, and maintenance of protection and control systems with growing independence. The role focuses on safety, technical proficiency, and effective communication with project teams.

You will advance in relay protection schemes, system analysis, and advanced testing practices while collaborating with Senior Technicians and Engineers.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment drug screen required.
• Background check required.
• Overtime and out-of-town travel possible.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Hands-on experience with protective relays in transmission/generation.
• Knowledge of relay test software.

Responsibilities

• Perform relay testing with guidance from Seniors and Engineers.
• Execute element, logic, and basic functionality tests on relays and control systems.
• Analyze readings and events to verify performance and identify anomalies.
• Prepare tests, reports, and commissioning documentation.
• Communicate findings clearly with team and clients.
