Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Relay Technician II to perform testing, commissioning, and maintenance of protection and control systems in field projects across North America. This role emphasizes safety, growing independence, and strong communication with engineers and clients.

You will develop expertise in relay protection schemes, system analysis, and advanced testing while supporting performance verification and reporting for diverse facilities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with protective relays in transmission, generation or distribution substations.
• Ability to read one-line, three-line diagrams and protection schematics.
• Knowledge of relay test software and testing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform relay testing, commissioning, and maintenance with growing independence.
• Develop testing and isolation plans to ensure safe execution of work.
• Create detailed test, commissioning, and calibration documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot protection systems.
• Communicate results clearly to clients and project stakeholders.
