Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Relay Technician II to perform testing, commissioning, and maintenance of protection and control systems. The role emphasizes safety, technical proficiency, and growing expertise alongside Senior Technicians and Engineers.

You will develop relay protection knowledge, execute testing plans, analyze readings, and create detailed reports for clients across North America. Travel may be required; strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Able to travel out of town and work overtime.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Hands-on experience installing, maintaining, testing & repairing protective relays in substations.

Responsibilities

• Perform relay testing and commissioning with Senior Technicians.
• Create test plans, isolation plans, and documentation.
• Analyze relay operation, event records, and system performance.
• Communicate with clients and project stakeholders.
• Coordinate with engineers and project teams.
