Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited engineering technology program.
• Cumulative GPA at least 2.75.
• Must be at least 18 years old and not graduate before Aug 2027.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Relocation or site access as required for internship at Duke Energy facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develops understanding of relaying fundamentals, protective schemes, and controls.
• Learns to read prints and use red mark process.
• Gains familiarity with RTS, NERC compliance, and data integrity.
• Develops basic troubleshooting skills.
• Builds ability to plan and sequence activities logically.
• Learns about CT and VT circuits and SCADA interactions.
