Job summary

Newport, an Ascensus company, provides specialized trust and fiduciary services for high-profile institutional accounts and Fortune 500 plans. The role supports onboarding, account administration, and cross-functional collaboration with executives and attorneys.

You will review agreements, coordinate deliverables, and lead communications with plan sponsors and advisors while ensuring compliance and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong MS Office skills including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Nurtures long-standing relationships with clients by delivering high quality and responsive service.
• Leads onboarding of new accounts, gathers information and coordinates account openings.
• Reviews agreements and prepares internal documentation to ensure proper administration.
• Meets periodically with contacts and ensures timeliness of client deliverables and field inquiries.
• Directs Trust Administrators with processing of stock and mutual fund trades, wire transfers, checks, plan sub accounting, and reconciliations.
• Collaborates with Senior Management, Trust Administrators, Operations, Financial Analysts and Attorneys to perform services.
• Presents annual account reviews at weekly committee meetings and participates in planning meetings.
• Facilitates participant communications related to employer stock funds and distributions.
• Promotes procedural prudence by complying with policies, retaining records and responding to audits.
• Identifies cross-selling opportunities to support business development within the organization.
