As a Relationship Manager I within PNC's Commercial Banking organization, based in Chicago, you will serve companies with sales from $5 million to $50 million. Commercial Banking provides financial services in and out of PNC's branch footprint, acting as a trusted advisor in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Your role involves identifying and cultivating relationships, building networks within the marketplace, and serving as a strategic partner to clients by adding value through top-tier products and business solutions. You will focus on growing your portfolio via innovative approaches, leveraging technology platforms for prospecting, networking, and communication to differentiate yourself within the industry.

Job Description
  1. Manage relationships with new and existing clients to grow sales, revenue, and market share, working with clients with basic risk levels and needs, generally under higher supervision.
  2. Acquire, expand, and retain client relationships to generate revenue and deepen wallet share, including origination, financial analysis, negotiation, and documentation of credit and non-credit products.
  3. Manage risk/return and drive quality for clients, actively identifying and mitigating various risks (regulatory, reputational, operational, credit).
  4. Identify client opportunities by understanding their needs and financial well-being, increasing engagement and loyalty.
  5. Build internal and external networks to acquire new clients and expand existing relationships, leveraging the full range of PNC's products and services, and utilizing reporting and sales tools for opportunity conversion.
  6. Analyze, evaluate, and mitigate credit risk using credit fundamentals and internal policies.

Qualifications

Candidates should demonstrate relevant knowledge, skills, and experience, including a university degree with 3+ years of industry experience. Certifications may enhance candidacy but are not mandatory.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary ranges from $55,000 to $127,010, with incentive eligibility based on performance. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
