Job summary

Truist is seeking a client-focused banker to build and expand relationships, provide financial solutions, and cross-train in teller duties. The role emphasizes customer service, sales, and regulatory compliance.

You will advise on loan options, process applications, and help clients navigate offerings while meeting branch targets. Some travel, weekends, and extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment and pass applicable background checks.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests and sales functions across deposit, credit, and other product lines.
• Contributes to meeting client service and sales targets by developing, expanding and retaining relationships.
• Supports team sales process by referring complex client needs to internal specialists.
• Attends sales, service and product knowledge meetings and trainings.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Ensures compliance with internal controls and policies.
