Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc. seeks an experienced Loan Officer to join our growing retail team. Build relationships, originate loans, and deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the home financing process.

The ideal candidate will self-source business, develop referral partnerships, and manage a full pipeline from application to closing, while staying compliant with lending regulations and providing market insights to clients.

Qualifications

• Active NMLS license required.
• Previous mortgage loan origination experience preferred.
• Proven ability to self-source and develop referral-based business.
• Established referral relationships strongly preferred.
• Strong sales, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and jumbo loan products.

Responsibilities

• Originate residential mortgage loans through self-generated business and referral partnerships
• Develop and maintain relationships with realtors, builders, financial planners, CPAs, and other referral sources
• Build a consistent pipeline through networking, prospecting, and local market engagement
• Consult with borrowers to evaluate financial and credit data to determine financing solutions
• Guide clients through the mortgage process from application through closing
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and company lending regulations
• Utilize CRM and marketing tools to manage leads, referrals, and ongoing client communication
• Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure timely and smooth loan closings
• Stay informed on mortgage products, market trends, and industry guidelines
