Job summary

Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc. is seeking an experienced Loan Officer to join our retail team.

You will develop your own loan pipeline through self-sourced referrals, Realtor partnerships, builder relationships, and local networking, while delivering exceptional customer experiences throughout the home financing process. The ideal candidate will have active NMLS licensure and prior mortgage origination experience, with strong sales and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• Active NMLS license required.
• Mortgage loan origination experience preferred.
• Strong ability to self-source and build referrals.
• Established local referral networks preferred.
• Strong sales, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA and jumbo loans.
• Ability to work independently within a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Originate residential mortgage loans through self-generated business and referrals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with realtors, builders, financial planners, CPAs, and other referral sources.
• Build a consistent pipeline through networking, prospecting, and local market engagement.
• Consult with borrowers to evaluate financial and credit data to determine financing solutions.
• Guide clients through the mortgage process from application through closing.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and company lending regulations.
• Utilize CRM and marketing tools to manage leads, referrals, and ongoing client communication.
• Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure timely and smooth loan closings.
• Stay informed on mortgage products, market trends, and industry guidelines.
