You’ll leverage dedicated processing support and underwriting access to keep loans moving and clients informed. Ideal candidates have 3+ years as a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer, possession of state licenses, a business/finance degree, strong knowledge of lending guidelines, and a proven track record in

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer/Originator.
• Active state-specific mortgage license(s) or the ability to obtain required licensing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of conventional and government lending guidelines, and processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
• Proven sales and customer service skills with ability to build trust and relationships.
• Strong judgment, problem-solving, math, organizational, and computer skills with accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and teamwork.
• Self-motivated and team-oriented with a competitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong referral relationships with realtors, builders, industry professionals, past clients, and personal networks.
• Consult with clients, complete loan applications, answer questions, and guide borrowers through the mortgage process.
• Evaluate borrower needs and financial information to recommend appropriate loan products, rates, and financing options.
• Manage your pipeline from application through closing, ensuring documentation is complete and on time.
• Provide timely loan updates and set clear expectations with borrowers, Realtors, partners, and internal teams.
• Collaborate with processors, underwriters, and other team members to resolve questions and keep loans moving forward.
• Maintain knowledge of available mortgage products, investor requirements, underwriting guidelines, and origination processes.
• Meet with clients and referral partners and represent Equity Resources within the local market.
• Follow all regulations, policies, and lending requirements throughout origination.
• Deliver knowledgeable, responsive, and personalized service to build lasting relationships.
