Job summary

Equity Resources, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Officer who loves building relationships and growing a business.

You will own relationships, generate new business, and guide borrowers from application to closing, while serving as a trusted representative in your community. You will collaborate with a strong support team, leverage marketing resources, and deliver personalized service to turn clients and referral partners into raving fans.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer/Originator.
• Active state-specific mortgage license(s) or ability to obtain licensing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of conventional and government lending guidelines and mortgage processes.
• Proven sales and customer service skills with ability to build trust and relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong referral relationships with realtors, builders, and networks.
• Consult with clients, complete loan applications, and guide borrowers through the process.
• Evaluate borrower needs to recommend loan products, rates, and options.
• Manage pipeline from application to closing with accurate documentation.
• Provide timely loan updates and set clear expectations with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with processors and underwriters to keep loans moving forward.
• Maintain knowledge of mortgage products, investor requirements, and origination processes.
• Meet with clients and referral partners, representing Equity Resources locally.
• Follow federal/state lending regulations and company policies.
