Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice seeks an experienced Healthcare Business Development professional to manage relationships with physicians, hospitals, and other referral sources. The role focuses on educating partners about Enhabit services to grow referrals and improve patient outcomes in post-acute care transitions.

The ideal candidate has a healthcare business development background, strong presentation skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, marketing, or related field or graduate of nursing/therapy/social work.
• Minimum two years of experience in healthcare business development, community relations, marketing, or sales.
• Understanding of federal, state, and local laws governing Medicare certified home health and hospice operations.
• Valid state driver license and automobile liability insurance.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Clinical license if applicable; experience in home health or hospice is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship manager between the company and referral sources (physicians, hospitals, health systems, senior living communities, and other organizations).
• Support referral growth by educating sources about Enhabit's services and program requirements to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with sales and operations to ensure smooth post-acute care transitions.
• Maintain relationships with referral sources and weather-based vehicle and regulatory requirements.
