Job summary

Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution is seeking a Customer Service Representative/Teller to support branch operations and serve customers with professionalism. The role alternates between CSR and Teller duties based on branch scheduling and customer needs.

Responsibilities include handling deposits, opening accounts, explaining products, and referring customers to appropriate bank personnel while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required; college or banking training helpful.
• Experience in Teller, Customer Service or related field is beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with team orientation.
• Operational competency using Microsoft Office and standard office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, courteous service to customers and learn customer names.
• Assist with opening accounts, explain deposit products, update information.
• Provide information on consumer and business deposit products and services.
• Process transactions accurately and balance cash drawer at shift end.
• Refer customers to other bank personnel when appropriate and maintain confidentiality.
• Adhere to bank policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Attend meetings and training; support branch staff as needed.
