Job summary

Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution is seeking a Branch Manager to lead daily branch operations, coach tellers and CRAs, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will open/close the branch, supervise staff when needed, and build relationships with customers to identify their banking needs.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent is required; additional college or banking training is helpful.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, courteous service to customers and make referrals to business partners.
• Assist customers with opening accounts, updating information, and resolving account issues.
• Maintain knowledge of deposit products and loan products and explain them to customers.
• Oversee branch operations, supervise staff in absence of manager, and travel to all bank locations as needed.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and federal/state regulations.
