Job summary

Truist Wealth in Suffolk, VA is seeking a Universal Banker to provide timely, accurate client transactions and build strong client relationships. You will deliver superior service, educate clients on digital banking, and support outbound calling and Integrated Relationship Management activities.

The base salary ranges from $45,760 to $51,750 with additional incentive pay. Eligible teammates receive a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
• Willingness to travel for temporary staffing needs and to work weekends/extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience while handling complex and standard transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service banking options (ATMs, Online/Mobile banking).
• Support sales via outbound client outreach and identifying needs for referrals to branch teams or specialists.
• Understand and apply Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise.
• Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and training.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
