Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a Universal Banker in the United States to provide a consistent client experience through transactions and relationship-building. The role involves educating clients on digital banking, supporting sales through outbound calls, and applying IRM strategies to meet client needs.

Responsibilities include participating in leadership routines, expanding product knowledge through training, and ensuring compliance with internal controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications like Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and possible locale changes.
• Willingness to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel/overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience, executing transactions and uncovering needs.
• Educate clients on digital self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support team sales through outbound calls and client outreach; refer to branch staff as needed.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise.
• Participate in all components of Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
• Advance product knowledge by attending training and meetings.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies, staying updated on changes.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and issue resolution; adjust workload to branch demands.
