Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One-year experience in banking, client service, or related field with cash handling.
• Ability to perform lending, sales, or account management.
• Excellent client service skills.
• Strong multitasking and attention to detail under pressure.
• Proficient data entry with banking software and Microsoft 365.
• Strong decision making, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and build long term relationships with clients and provide solutions through appropriate product and service offerings, including deposit products, electronic services, and loans.
• Open accounts for current and new clients, oversee transactions and close accounts when necessary.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with accuracy.
• Answer questions, address service challenges, and provide resolutions.
• Maintain a system of orderly follow-up by mail and phone to onboard new clients.
• Collaborate with business development and lending teams to seek and establish new clients in the marketplace.
• Maintain knowledge of internal audit procedures, legal and bank regulations, and policies and procedures.
• Explain interest rates and account charges while complying with disclosures and privacy policies.
• Process various transactions including checking and savings deposits, check cashing, cash handling and check endorsements.
• Accept and process loan and other payments and issue receipts.
• Process other transactions including wire transfers, stop payments, cash advances, money orders, cashier’s checks, Travelers’ Checks.
• Follow security procedures and protect client confidentiality.
• Support audits and regulatory exams with urgency and accuracy.
• Comply with all company policies and requirements; foster diversity and inclusion.
• Additional duties may be required to support the company’s mission and values.
