Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One-year experience in banking, client service, or related field with cash handling experience.
• Capabilty to perform lending, sales, or account management.
• Excellent client service skills.
• Capability to prioritize and execute a variety of tasks simultaneously, at times in a demanding environment.
• Capability to perform data entry utilizing banking software and Microsoft 365 products, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Demonstrates strong decision making & critical thinking skills, as well as strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and build long-term relationships with clients, understand their needs, and offer suitable deposit, loan, and electronic services.
• Open and oversee bank accounts for clients, including closing accounts when needed.
• Provide excellent service while processing deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
• Answer questions and resolve service issues.
• Maintain timely follow-ups by mail and phone to onboard new clients.
• Collaborate with development and lending teams to establish new clients.
• Know internal audit procedures, laws, and banking regulations.
• Answer inquiries about rates and fees while complying with disclosures and privacy rules.
• Process deposits, check cashing, cash handling, and endorsements per procedures.
• Accept loan payments and issue receipts.
• Process wire transfers, stop payments, money orders, cashier’s checks, and more.
• Follow security procedures and protect client confidentiality.
• Support audits and compliance exams with urgency.
• Comply with all policies and regulatory requirements.
• Foster diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Additional duties may be required to support the company’s mission.
