Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Financial Relationship Banker to serve branch customers and protect relationships by identifying financial goals and recommending deposit, loan, and other banking products. You will be part of a welcoming team that empowers daily calls and in-branch support.

You will excel at resolving issues, growing consumer and business relationships, and helping customers use online/mobile banking while following all policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and minimum 1 year customer service and sales in banking or related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 1+ year in customer service/sales in banking or business-to-business sales.
• Ability to build, deepen and retain relationships.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service and effectively resolving customer issues.
• Proactively identifies opportunities to grow customer relationships through appointments, referrals, and a disciplined sales process.
• Educating and referring customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships.
• Educating customers on how to optimize their use of bank technology (online, mobile, and ATM banking).
• Maintaining knowledge of all products, services, technology and policies.
• Adhering to all operational, security, risk and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
