Job summary

Truist Financial is seeking a Retail Banking Associate to deliver timely client transactions and accurate records while providing high-quality service. You will educate clients on digital banking, support branch sales, and act as a knowledgeable resource for IRM-driven solutions, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to branch demand.

The role requires 2 years in teller or client service, strong communication, and flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with smiling and courteous conversation while handling transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support team sales process by participating in client outreach through outbound calls and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in the Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and training sessions.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies; stay informed of policy changes.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering applicable products and services.
