Job summary

TD Bank in Cambridge, MA is seeking a customer-focused teller role to deliver everyday banking and advise clients on consumer products. You will manage in-person and phone interactions, perform routine transactions, and guide customers to appropriate bank partners while maintaining accuracy and risk controls.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year of client-facing experience; cash handling is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience working with clients (volunteering, education, military experience count).
• Teller or cash-handling experience in a client-facing/financial institution preferred.
• Ability to work during operating hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work independently and within deadlines.
• Problem-solving skills and good judgment; proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Notary License preferred is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrates the overall client experience by managing client flow and handling inquiries, issues, and referrals.
• Serves as a hospitality ambassador, delivering relationship-driven client experiences.
• Educates clients on banking products and digital capabilities to enhance convenience and financial well-being.
• Schedules appointments for consumer account needs and deepens opportunities with clients.
• Ensures compliant and responsible outcomes by balancing client needs with policy and risk awareness.
