Job summary

NBT is seeking a Relationship Banking Associate in Connecticut to deliver high quality customer service and process routine transactions efficiently. You will identify opportunities, open basic consumer deposit accounts, and refer customers to the right partners.

This role requires strong communication, teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. You will engage customers and support deposit openings while following policy and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum one year experience in related banking positions or equivalent sales/customer service experience.
• Ability to identify customer needs and offer solutions.
• Strong interpersonal and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• 65% Processes routine transactions with high accuracy and efficiency, including teller transactions.
• 25% Identify customer opportunities and refer to appropriate partners.
• 5% Participates in CRA-related community events.
• 5% Performs other duties as assigned.
