Job summary

NBT is seeking a Relationship Banking Associate in the United States to deliver high-quality customer service and ensure accurate processing of routine transactions. You will identify sales opportunities and refer customers to the appropriate business partners, supporting new deposit accounts as needed.

Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude are essential as you work in a fast-paced environment and participate in community CRA activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum one year experience in related banking positions or equivalent sales/customer service experience.
• Excellent listening & communication skills.
• Ability to identify customer needs and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Process routine transactions and customer/account servicing with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
• Identify customer opportunities and refer to appropriate business partners.
• Participate in CRA-related community events and other duties as assigned.
• Support for new deposit account openings and ensure security controls.
