Job summary

NBT is seeking a Relationship Banking Associate to deliver high-quality customer service and responsive support for routine transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to policy. This role interacts with customers in person or by phone and supports basic deposit account opening while identifying opportunities for referrals to appropriate business partners.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least one year in banking or customer service, with strong listening and communication

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Minimum one year experience in related banking positions or equivalent sales/customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• 65% — Processes routine transactions and account servicing with high accuracy; balance vaults and prepare reports.
• 25% — Identify customer opportunities, conduct sales and service calls, and refer customers to business partners.
• 5% — Participate in CRA-related community events.
• 5% — Perform other duties as assigned.
