NBT in New York is seeking a Relationship Banking Associate to deliver high quality customer service and accurately process routine transactions. You will identify customer needs and refer opportunities to the appropriate partners while maintaining compliance and security.

The role involves handling deposits, assisting with new account openings, and providing timely resolutions to customer inquiries both in person and by phone. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Minimum one year experience in related banking positions or equivalent sales/customer service experience.
• Excellent listening and communication skills; ability to identify customer needs and opportunities.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• 65% - Processes routine transactions and account servicing with accuracy; vault balancing and reporting as required.
• 25% - Identify customer opportunities, perform deposits and refer customers to appropriate partners; handle issues tactfully.
• 5% - Participate in CRA-related community events.
• 5% - Perform other duties as assigned.
