Job summary

TD Bank is seeking a customer-focused Associate in Williamstown, MA to support everyday banking needs and build strong client relationships. You will act as a hospitality ambassador, helping clients understand their options and feel informed and supported.

You will perform routine transactions, open basic consumer accounts, and refer clients to appropriate partners while maintaining TD’s risk and regulatory standards. This role offers growth through TD’s development programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years demonstrated experience working with clients, including volunteering, education, or military experience.
• Teller or cash-handling experience in a client-facing/financial institution preferred.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Must complete required job-related training upon hire.
• Strong organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with concise, clear, and consistent delivery.
• Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within deadlines.
• Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Notary License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrates the overall client experience by managing client flow (in-person and phone).
• Serves as a hospitality ambassador for the financial center.
• Creates personalized, client-first interactions that build trust.
• Educates clients on banking products, services, and digital capabilities.
• Engages clients through outreach, including scheduling appointments for consumer needs.
• Balances client needs with policy adherence and risk awareness.
• Advocates for clients with empathy and integrity.
