Job summary

TD in Roslindale, MA is seeking a client-focused Banking Associate to deliver everyday banking and account support. You will greet clients, open and maintain consumer accounts, and connect them with specialists to meet financial goals.

As a first point of contact and hospitality ambassador, you’ll deliver accurate transactions, deepen relationships, and educate clients on digital tools while adhering to TD’s risk and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years experience working with clients.
• Teller or cash-handling experience in a client facing/financial institution preferred.
• Ability to work during operating hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Ability to complete required job-related training upon hire.
• Strong organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear and consistent.
• Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within deadlines.
• Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Notary License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrates the overall client experience by effectively managing client flow (in-person and phone).
• Serves as the hospitality ambassador for the financial center, delivering consistent, relationship-driven client experiences.
• Creates personalized, client-first interactions that build trust from initial engagement.
• Educates clients on banking products, services, and digital capabilities to enhance convenience and well-being.
• Engages clients through proactive outreach, including appointment scheduling for consumer needs.
• Balances client needs with policy adherence and risk awareness to ensure compliant outcomes.
• Advocates for clients with empathy, integrity, and a long-term perspective.
