Job summary

TD Bank is seeking a client-facing associate in Quincy, MA who will be the friendly first point of contact for customers and visitors. You will guide traffic, deliver accurate everyday banking transactions, and help clients reach their financial goals with a high-touch, professional approach.

You will educate clients on banking products, assist with self-serve solutions, and refer opportunities to appropriate partners while maintaining TD's risk and regulatory standards in all interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year demonstrated experience working with clients (volunteering, education, military experience acceptable).
• Teller or cash-handling experience in a client facing/financial institution preferred.
• Ability to work during operating hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear and consistent.
• Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within deadlines.
• Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Notary License preferred.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for clients as they serve as the hospitality ambassador of the bank location.
• Delivers accurate, efficient everyday banking transactions while deepening relationships by proactively identifying needs and opportunities.
• Educates clients on banking products and self-serve solutions while using insights to recommend solutions.
• Demonstrates knowledge of basic banking products and services to utilize insights, tools and resources to evaluate and recommend client solutions.
• Performs a broad range of client transactions and multi-step activities within established financial limits.
• Identifies and assesses client problems in straightforward situations using standard procedures; escalates non-standard issues internally.
