Job summary

Citizens Bank branch is seeking an engaging Customer Service Representative who thrives on helping people with their financial needs. You will advise on spending, saving, borrowing and investing while building lasting relationships with customers in a fast-paced banking environment.

You will guide customers through digital banking options, support day-to-day transactions, and coordinate with partners in Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking to deliver tailored solutions.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience, demonstrating an ability to meet or exceed goals.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship.
• Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions.
• Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Recognized ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners and specialists through collaboration.
• Self-motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.
• Meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of the pre-employment screening checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS.
• Video interview assessment after applying as the next step, to be completed within 7 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations and assist customers with financial solutions, supporting spending, saving and borrowing needs.
• Help customers with personal financial goals and tailor solutions for plans like future planning, home buying or new credit cards.
• Introduce customers to digital and mobile-first banking options (app and ATMs).
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage, and Business Banking partners for more complex needs.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkup appointments.
