Job summary

Truist is seeking a branch-based Associate who delivers exceptional client service both in person and by phone. You will build and expand client relationships, provide financial solutions, and refer complex needs to specialists.

You may cross-train for teller duties and support daily branch operations with a focus on service quality. The role emphasizes meeting client needs, adhering to risk controls, and contributing to sales goals through consultative conversations and effective product

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment, including NMLS background check.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and weekend/extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide industry leading client service in person and over the phone.
• Develop and expand client relationships; cross-sell products with referrals.
• Contribute to branch sales targets through consultative conversations.
• Assist with teller duties as needed and support internal specialists.
• Adhere to controls, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Greeting clients, answering questions, and guiding customers within the branch.
