Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Customer service experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain customer relations by providing high quality customer service.
• Assist customer from start to finish acting as a full relationship manager.
• Performs normal teller duties daily.
• Interview customers to obtain information and proactively sell bank products and services.
• Open and close accounts using needs-based techniques.
• Assist with consumer loan options, applications, and loan closings in a professional and compliant manner.
• Assist with electronic services, Wealth Management and Commercial/Mortgage loan services with referrals.
• Participate in outbound calling or business development to support branch goals.
• Solve branch operations matters.
• Support marketing initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and professional work area.
• Assist with lobby management and branch appearance standards.
• Service, audit, and balance drawers, vaults, TCRs, PTM, coin machine and other branch technology within guidelines.
• Prepare, verify, and order incoming and outgoing cash shipments.
• Prepare and sign cashier’s checks, loan checks, and wires within limits.
• Open, close and lead the branch during absence of management.
• Mentor/train incoming Tellers/Universal Bankers.
• Follow security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
