Job summary

SMBT is seeking an experienced Teller to deliver high-quality customer service while accurately processing transactions and maintaining secure cash handling in a busy branch. You will also assist customers with electronic services and loan options when appropriate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain customer relations by providing high quality customer service.
• Assist customers from start to finish, acting as a full relationship manager.
• Perform teller duties daily and process transactions accurately.
• Interview customers to obtain information and promote bank products and services.
• Open and close accounts using needs-based techniques.
• Assist with understanding consumer loan options and loan closings.
